About the Role

The Senior Financial and Support Controller is a critical, strategic, multifaceted role at Recovery Partners Australia. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will provide strategic and financial insights, contributing actively to the company strategy and tactical decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Proactively provide strategic and financial insights, contributing actively to the company strategy and tactical decisions.
  • Management: Develop the finance and support functions nationally, ensuring effective management and control.
  • Analysis: Understand the work done by the organisation and contribute actively to the optimisation of the business model, ensuring data-driven decision making.
  • Control: Design and implement appropriate processes and controls to ensure the preparation of meaningful and reliable financial and management reports, safeguarding the company's assets.
  • Technology: Improve back-office processes with the best possible use of technology and efficient data management across the organisation.
  • Business Analytics: Provide insights and recommendations to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Contractor/Vendor Management: Oversee the management of contractors and vendors, ensuring effective relationships and value for money.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee the payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Business, Finance or Accounting Degree.
  • Experience: Previous experience with a minimum of 5 years in a finance role, with a strong background in financial management and analysis.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective financial strategies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Professional Development: Full Current member of CAANZ or CPA will be highly regarded, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
