Concrete Operations Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our concrete plant. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth running of our facility, making decisions on the spot, delegating tasks to team members, and enforcing safety protocols.
Your day-to-day activities will involve communicating with our fleet of agitator drivers, managing raw material stock, facilitating safety initiatives, supervising yard housekeeping, maintenance, and plant operations, as well as communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
You will be expected to manage costs, raise purchase orders, and contribute to a culture of safety and zero harm.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Experience in managing/supervising teams in a similar role
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Flexibility and willingness to cover several responsibilities across the plant as required
- FEL license and forklift license will be highly regarded
- Permanent, full-time opportunity offering overtime rates
- Monthly rostered day off – 13 additional, paid days off
- Ongoing mentoring and guidance from industry leaders and subject matter experts
