The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Fitter to join our team at Hitachi Construction Machinery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing breakdown, service, and planned maintenance support on a range of Hitachi construction and mining equipment.

Working primarily a Monday to Friday roster, this permanent role will allow you to access OEM training while building a long-term career in a global company. You will also:

  • Embrace and encourage the Hitachi Safety Culture
  • Have experience, knowledge, and understanding of civil and mining equipment
  • Instill a positive work ethic and ability to work autonomously within remote areas
  • Have good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships
  • Possess sound technical knowledge and diagnostic ability
  • Technical knowledge of Hitachi mining equipment would be highly advantageous
