Geological Exploration Director

We are seeking an experienced Exploration Manager to lead our client's critical minerals exploration efforts in Western Australia. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in driving discovery programs, implementing exploration strategies, and unlocking the full potential of our company assets.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Refine Exploration Strategy: Create and refine the exploration strategy for our Western Australia-focused projects, ensuring alignment with our company's goals and objectives.
- Plan and Execute Exploration Programs: Plan, execute, and manage exploration programs to identify and delineate mineralisation, leveraging your expertise in geological modelling and data analysis.
- Geological Assessments and Data Analysis: Conduct thorough geological assessments, analyse exploration data, and validate results to inform exploration decisions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with regulatory authorities, landowners, and local communities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Budget Management: Manage exploration budgets and secure necessary resources to support exploration programs.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a geoscience discipline.
- Experience: Proven experience as an Exploration Manager, preferably within Western Australia.
- Skills: Proficiency in geological modelling software and exploration data analysis tools, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead and motivate exploration teams.
- Communication: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse stakeholders.
