ICU Critical Care Nurse Leader

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced ICU Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at St Vincent's Health Australia.
Job Summary:
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of clinical expertise, leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU setting, utilizing strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Lead and manage a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current registration as an RN with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Postgraduate qualifications in intensive care nursing or a related field (desired).
- At least 2 years of experience in an ICU setting, preferably in a leadership or educational role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
