Front Desk Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Front Desk Coordinator to join our team at our global head office in South Brisbane.

This casual role requires exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on providing a professional experience to guests, visitors, suppliers and internal staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and mailroom, including:

  • Front counter/reception duties
  • Meet and greet all incoming clients and customers
  • Training registrations
  • Arrange access cards, security passes and induction as required
  • Arrange meeting rooms, boardroom and provide client services in conference centre rooms
  • Process ingoing/outgoing Australia Post mail and deliveries
  • Process courier deliveries and express post
  • Coordinate staff uniform orders and storage
  • Notify staff of deliveries and pick up
  • Head office kitchen supplies order and monitor
  • Printer/photocopier/stationery supplies order and monitoring

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Immaculate personal presentation with excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer-facing administration/reception/front office role
  • Maintain the highest levels of customer service in a busy environment
  • A positive team player who also has the ability to work autonomously
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Uses initiative
