Travelex Corporate has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Operations Specialist to join our team based at our Sydney Support Office.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial support to all areas of ANZ business, with a focus on commercial rigor and stakeholder engagement. This includes detailed analysis and business review for senior leadership teams and their support teams, providing timely, clear, and accurate financial information.

Key responsibilities:

  • Monthly profit and loss reporting, balance sheet reporting, preparation of statutory accounts, and audit, both internal and external
  • Working closely with offshore GL and Reconciliation teams to fully comply with monthly/quarterly reporting deadlines and to ensure that ANZ operates within Travelex's Group Financial Policies
  • Proactively engaging with business partners throughout forecasting and budgeting cycles, with regular business reviews to monitor variances
  • Other ad-hoc analysis when required

About You

We are seeking an individual with a strong understanding of P&L reporting, financial modelling, including budgets and forecasting, and business performance analysis. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to build relationships with finance and non-finance professionals.

The role requires a high degree of problem-solving and process excellence, with the ability to simplify complex data and interpret key business drivers.
