Cleaning Team Member Opportunity

Are you a motivated individual looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for casual cleaning team members to join our team at Macarthur Square shopping centre site.

This role involves providing a variety of cleaning services to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene, as well as a well-presented and safe workplace for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out standard cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and dusting
  • Operate cleaning machinery such as scrubbing machines, buffers, and car park sweepers
  • Maintain the appearance of the shopping centre by ensuring that all areas are clean and tidy
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals

Requirements:

  • Be well presented and proactive with a strong work ethic
  • Have prior commercial or retail cleaning experience (on the job training will be provided)
  • Have a good understanding of chemical handling procedures and proper cleaning techniques
  • Be physically fit to carry out standard duties and able to walk for lengthy periods
  • Have good listening skills and the ability to follow instructions
  • Be able to communicate in verbal and written English
  • Be able to work flexible hours and public holidays
