We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Midwife to join our team in providing exceptional care to patients and their families.
This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality care across both low-risk and complex cases, with a focus on midwives operating at their full scope of practice.
About the Role- We provide ongoing professional development and skills training, ensuring that our midwives have the expertise needed to succeed in this challenging yet rewarding field.
- Our labour ward, postnatal and special care nursery offer a range of facilities and equipment, including four labour rooms, 13 postnatal rooms and a Level 5 Special Care nursery.
- We cater for both low and high-risk obstetrics, including options for vaginal twins and breech births, high BMI and complex care needs, with support from 24 hour ICU and Intensivist teams.
- Minimum 12 months experience as a Registered Midwife
- AHPRA Registration
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
- Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- Ongoing professional development and skills training
