Locum Pharmacist in Charge

\Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced pharmacist to work as a Locum Pharmacist in Charge at our Community Pharmacy located north of Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and skilled pharmacist to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Medication Dispensing: The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications to patients, including ordering and dispensing cannabis (approximately 50 per day).
  • Medschecks and Vaccinations: The pharmacist will perform medschecks and vaccinate patients if accredited.
  • Stock Management: The candidate will be responsible for ordering and managing stock levels.
  • Policies and Procedures: The successful candidate will develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures.


Requirements:
  • A current registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA) is required.
  • Strong experience in cannabis dispensing is essential.
  • Familiarity with medication management systems is preferred but not essential.
  • Vaccination and UTI experience are also desirable but not necessary.


Benefits:
  • This is a paid position.
  • The hourly rate for weekdays is $70 + Super.
  • The hourly rate for weekends is $75 + Super.
  • No travel or tolls are required.
  • Street parking is available.
