Economic Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled Economic Analyst to join our team in the Victorian Skills Authority. As an Economic Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the development and maintenance of economic models that underpin workforce planning and training provisioning decisions across the Victorian government.
You will work collaboratively with a team of economists and analysts to deliver timely, accurate and high-quality data analysis that provides actionable insights into current and future skills needs across Victorian industries, occupations and regions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and refining economic models and analytical products.
- Contributing to the delivery of analysis and reporting products that communicate insights about current and future skills requirements.
- Sharing expertise and mentoring junior staff to enhance their analytical skills.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare reports, presentations and briefs for diverse stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills to build and maintain relationships with key partners.
