Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher/Cleaner to join our bakery team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, sanitised, and organised environment.

About the Role:

This is a casual position requiring availability on Mondays and Fridays from 6am with additional hours available. You will be responsible for washing and sanitising bakery equipment, utensils, and dishes according to standard operating procedures. Additionally, you will maintain the cleanliness and organisation of designated work areas, including sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash bins, and wiping down surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Wash and sanitise bakery equipment, utensils, and dishes according to standard operating procedures
  2. Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of designated work areas
  3. Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed
  4. Assist with general bakery duties, such as packaging products, restocking shelves, and assisting bakers when required
  5. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and the use of personal protective equipment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role or a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, as you will be working closely with other bakery staff
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
