Research Development Coordinator

  • Fixed Term – 6 months contract with possibility to extend
  • Part-time or Full-time available- 60.8-76 hours per fortnight

The Melanoma and Skin Cancer Trials (MASC Trials) team specialises in investigator-initiated melanoma and skin cancer research. We collaborate with leading researchers and institutions locally and globally to develop, conduct, and publish research and clinical trials that improve melanoma and skin cancer outcomes.

MASC Trials manages a diverse growing portfolio of research in the prevention, early detection, and treatment of melanoma and skin cancer, including early to late phase clinical trials.

This role requires highly developed communication skills to manage relationships with MASC Trials members and researchers, clinicians, clinical trial staff, funders, and university representatives both within and outside the organisation.

Excellent administrative and organisational skills are necessary to succeed in this role. This involves performing high-volume tasks to meet multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy and consistency.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to improving the lives of those affected by melanoma and skin cancer.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications and relevant work experience, preferably in health sciences or related field.
  • Demonstrated high-level organisational, administrative, and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Accuracy and excellent administrative skills and attention to detail.
