Job Title: Department Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team at H&M Group. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Advisors and driving sales and profit growth in your department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Sales Advisors to achieve sales and profit targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and improve customer experience.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to create visually appealing store displays and promotions.
  • Recruit, train, and develop Sales Advisors to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, stockroom organization, and visual merchandising.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety, customer service, and sales practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a sales or retail management role, with a strong track record of driving sales and profit growth.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
