About the Role


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Field Service Technician based in the Nowra region working from your home base.


Reporting to the NSW Service Manager, this role is responsible for safe, efficient, and compliant diagnostic, maintenance, and component replacements services to our customer base across the South Coast of NSW.


The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnosis on heavy machinery, including major and minor services, inspecting and testing electrical and instrumentation systems and components, and routine maintenance, repairs, and component replacements.


Key Responsibilities



  • Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electrical Diagnosis on Heavy Machinery
  • Major and Minor Services
  • Inspect and Test Electrical and Instrumentation Systems and Components
  • Routine Maintenance, Repairs, and Component Replacements
  • Complete Service Reports
  • Expand and Maintain Customer Relationships in the Field
  • Organizing Your Own Jobs and Quoting
  • Adhere to Safety Guidelines in the Workplace

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A trade qualification or equivalent in Mobile Plant Mechanics
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • An MR Licence
  • Flexibility to travel and work over-time as required
  • Capability to work independently in the field, problem-solving in various situations
  • Ability to fault-find and rectify hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues
  • An Air Conditioning Ticket advantageous
