About the Role

We are a team of quality assurance experts responsible for ensuring the highest level of video streaming quality across TikTok's global media network. Our mission is to deliver exceptional user experiences by providing robust infrastructure that supports live streaming and real-time communication.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Take ownership of product quality on live-streaming/real-time communication systems, designing test strategies, writing test cases, executing functional/performance/regression tests, verifying bug fixes, and delivering high-quality test reports.
  2. Track task progress, assess potential risks, coordinate with teams, and ensure timely delivery of projects with excellent quality standards.
  3. Develop automation scripts for new features and regression test cases, and build CICD related workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
  4. Design and optimize development and QA processes to enhance quality and productivity.
  5. Promote innovation by introducing new technologies or ideas that improve quality and efficiency.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field.
  2. Proven experience in black-box and white-box testing, functional and performance testing, with expertise in backend testing.
  3. Demonstrated coding skills in Python, Go, or Java.
  4. Excellent learning, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  5. Passionate about teamwork, self-motivation, and continuous learning.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience with automation test frameworks like Pytest/testNG.
  2. Knowledge of live streaming or CDN-related industries.
