About the Role

Kirinari Community Services is a leading provider of disability support services, offering a range of opportunities for individuals to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disabilities.

We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our team in Bella Vista, NSW. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities, including domestic and personal care assistance, and assistance with accessing community services.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Assist individuals with disabilities to develop and maintain daily living skills, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household management.
  • Support individuals with disabilities to participate in community activities, including social events, recreational activities, and educational programs.
  • Monitor and report on individual progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement.
