Job Title: Executive Director - Clinical Services (525258)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled clinician to lead our clinical services team. As a key member of the executive management team, you will be responsible for strategically managing all clinical matters relating to ambulance service administration.

You will need substantial expertise and experience in ambulance service operations, including strategic management, clinical governance, patient safety, education, and research. You should have a proven track record of successfully leading teams and making informed decisions that drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Management: Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical services and meet business objectives
  • Clinical Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Patient Safety: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure patient safety
  • Education and Research: Conduct research and develop educational programs to improve clinical skills
  • Project Management: Manage projects related to clinical services redesign

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor of Paramedic Science or Equivalent Qualification: A recognized degree in paramedic science or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant Work Experience: At least 5 years of experience in ambulance service administration and management
  • Current Driver's Licence: A current driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

Applicants with extensive operational experience as a practicing clinician and demonstrated experience of industry representation at a senior national level are preferred.
