Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Proactive Services team as a Trolley Collection Driver. You'll be responsible for collecting trolleys from car parks and surrounding streets using a vehicle. To help you with this task, you'll undergo full training to operate our trolley collection vehicles and complete an assessment.

  • Drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs
  • Push trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle
  • Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays
  • Carry out all pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle
  • Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection
  • Follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys
  • You may also be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A full (unrestricted) Australian drivers licence, Provisional P2 drivers licence (Green P Plates) or full International Licence
  • Physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
