Disability Support Worker Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in delivering exceptional care and support services to individuals with disabilities.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing person-centred care that promotes the autonomy, dignity, and well-being of our clients. This includes assisting with daily living activities, developing and implementing client support plans, and maintaining accurate records.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of disability support principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred care that supports clients' goals and aspirations
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of client support plans
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and living skills
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records

Essential Qualifications:

  • Cert 3 or 4 in disability, individual support, aged care, or nursing
  • Possession of a driver's license and access to a vehicle (highly preferred)

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
