Melbourne based steel manufacturing company is seeking skilled machine operators to join their team.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the steel industry or a heavy manufacturing environment. They will be responsible for operating overhead cranes and forklifts, performing manual handling tasks as required, and operating machines to cut and bend steel using MEP shearline and offcoil processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts to transport products and materials.
  • Perform manual handling tasks including lifting and moving heavy objects.
  • Operate machinery to cut and shape steel products using advanced techniques.
  • Conduct quality checks on produced goods to ensure high standards are met.
