About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to fill a permanent full-time position in metropolitan or regional Queensland.

Overview of the Position

This role involves providing comprehensive assessment, treatment, and management for children and adolescents up to 18 years of age with severe and/or complex mental health conditions. Our multidisciplinary teams focus on individual recovery outcomes for patients on an in-patient and community care basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant medical qualification and registration as a Psychiatrist in Australia
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with complex mental health conditions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
