Job Title

Chefs are sought after to join regional Queensland teams in a Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) roster. Chefs will work across busy kitchen operations preparing high-volume, nutritious meals for mining village residents.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Preparing and delivering meals across breakfast, crib, and dinner services
  2. Maintaining food safety standards and HACCP compliance
  3. Working collaboratively in a high-performing kitchen team
  4. Supporting quality and consistency across services

Requirements:

  • Certificate III / IV in Commercial Cookery
  • Experience in bulk catering or high-volume kitchens
  • FIFO or remote site experience desirable, but not essential
  • Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Flexible team player with strong communication skills
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol testing)
  • Australian Citizenship, Full Australian working rights or eligible for visa sponsorship
