IT Manager Job Description

This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of information management and telecommunications systems. The IT Manager collaborates closely with various stakeholders to ensure seamless availability of mission-critical infrastructure and services.

The IT Manager plays a critical role in ensuring day-to-day operations and maintenance of facility-related infrastructure networks, procuring, installing, maintaining, repairing, and documenting telecommunications cabling infrastructure and network conveyance. They also oversee telecommunications infrastructure projects, including project management of ISP/OSP projects.

In this role, the IT Manager leads and supervises personnel to manage, maintain, operate, design, engineer, test, inspect, and repair both inside and outside plant telecommunications infrastructure. This includes managing complex IT projects, experience with SCADA networks, and IC IT systems, as well as knowledge of INFOSEC policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance and CI polygraph adjudication.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • ISC0 2 CISSP certification (or equivalent) is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A minimum of five years of experience managing complex IT projects.
  • Experience with SCADA networks and IC IT systems, including INFOSEC policies and procedures.
