The Nursing Lecturer TFA Level B is a key position within the Victoria University community, responsible for delivering high-quality learning experiences to undergraduate students enrolled in the Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Midwifery/Bachelor of Nursing. As a member of our academic team, you will develop and deliver class materials, coordinate nursing units, and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver class materials to nursing students, including workshop, laboratory, and simulated-learning sessions.
- Coordinate nursing units in the nursing and midwifery programs, including practice placement units.
- Work collaboratively with other academics, sessional staff, and university staff across learning and teaching, and research activities.
- Undertake and/or lead research within nursing to inform the knowledge base of the discipline.
- Participate in unit development and professional activities associated with the Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Midwifery/Bachelor of Nursing, and other courses, as required.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Recent clinical experience in nursing practice.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to working with students to develop their professional capabilities.
- A strong research background, with a focus on nursing and healthcare.
