At QinetiQ, we are seeking a skilled Australian Security Specialist to join our team.

This role is crucial in supporting our Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) obligations and helping us achieve Level 3 for Personnel Security (PERSEC) and Governance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and maintaining security vetting governance, policies, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver security vetting governance, policies, and processes
  • Support the DISP uplift program from Level 2 to Level 3
  • Ensure compliance with government security frameworks
  • Manage security registers, compliance reporting, and assurance activities
  • Provide security vetting advice to projects and functional teams
  • Work with Talent Acquisition to manage staff security clearances
  • Support wider security reporting, training, and culture activities

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of AGSVA processes and requirements
  • Experience with government security frameworks such as PSPF, DSPF, and Australian Privacy Principles
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex tasks
  • Clear and confident communication skills
