Serials Cataloguer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to maintain and develop our library's serials service.

This role is responsible for cataloguing serials, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the management of collections tasks and duties in the team.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge of cataloguing and producing high-quality cataloguing records.

They will also be familiar with RDA, MARC 21, MARC Edit, Dewey, Library of Congress Authorities, and Libraries Australia database. Additionally, they will have knowledge of classification of library materials and learning resources, as well as the ability to work with various Library Management Systems.

Key qualifications include excellent teamwork skills, proven experience working independently, and experience in a vibrant customer service role. Experience in serials collections management and extensive work experience in a library environment are desirable.
