Dental Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Dentist to join our team at the Warwick Dental Clinic, part of Griffith University. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide high-quality general dental care and contribute to the development and integration of the clinic within the Warwick and Granite Belt communities.

This is a multifaceted role that will provide outstanding learning opportunities to Griffith dental students and play an integral part in the development and operation of the clinic. You will be responsible for supervising undergraduate fifth-year dental students undertaking comprehensive patient care across all disciplines at the level of a General Dental Practitioner.

• You must have a qualification that enables registration as a General Dental Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (Ahpra).
• You should have the ability to work independently as a solo practitioner.
• Previous experience in training, supervision of dental students or a similar role involving working with dental students in a clinical environment is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with academic staff to screen patients for educational purposes, participate in multidisciplinary meetings, and contribute to school and university administration are essential.

This is a fixed-term, full-time position until December 2026 and will be primarily based at the Griffith University Warwick Dental Clinic. The successful candidate is expected to attend the location in person as a normal requirement of the role.

This position can also be available for 12 months fixed-term basis.
