Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team at LIONS AUTO AND SMASH REPAIR PTY LTD.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems, with a focus on high-performance engine maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform oil changes, tune-ups, and other routine maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of vehicles.
  • D diagnose and repair complex problems with engines, brakes, suspensions, and other systems.
  • Replace damaged or worn-out parts, such as tires, batteries, and belts, to maintain vehicle safety and efficiency.
  • Test and fine-tune repaired vehicles to ensure proper performance and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed to track vehicle history and optimize future maintenance schedules.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex problems using software-based diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and physical coordination to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform tasks precisely to ensure high-quality results.
  • Familiarity with vocational or technical training is desirable.
  • Certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or other recognized organization is preferred.
