About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Director, Internal Audit and Assurance. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality internal audit services and ensure the effective operation of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver quality performance audits within defined time-frames and budget, culminating in published reports providing independent assurance.
  • Manage and conduct complex and sensitive compliance, performance/operational audits, and special projects.
  • Enhance fraud and corruption prevention strategies and provide independent and objective advice on control.
  • Deliver internal control, fraud and corruption, governance and risk management training and awareness to staff.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (degree level), with membership to a relevant professional body.
  • Extensive experience in managing complex financial, compliance, operational audits and investigations in a large and diverse service industry organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, leading and managing complex risk-based internal audits.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication, consultation and negotiation skills.
  • Current Drivers Licence and ability to travel within the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District.
