As a financial management professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality services to our participants. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure the effective management of financial aspects of support services.

The Account Officer is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations. This role is critical in preparing financial reports, monitoring cash flow, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.

Key responsibilities of the Account Officer include:

  • Managing accounts payable and receivable, including invoice entry, payment authorization, and reconciliation of debit/credit cards.
  • Allocating bank transactions daily, recording transactions according to our annual budget, and managing procurement activities.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve billing issues, prepare monthly reports, and contribute to the maintenance and development of our finance processes.

Essential requirements for this role include:

A tertiary qualification in accounting/finance or other relevant qualifications, intermediate Microsoft Office skills, working knowledge of Xero or MYOB, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
