Procurement Executive Position Overview:
Job Description:We are seeking a skilled Senior Procurement Executive to develop and implement sourcing strategies for regionally sourced goods and services in Sydney.
- Develop procurement strategies for the Eastern Region;
- Identify opportunities for cost savings on regional procurements;
- Negotiate supplier agreements;
- Analyse market trends and enhance category knowledge;
- Manage cross-functional procurement projects;
- Monitor supplier performance, quality, customer support, and price management;
- Establish new supplier relationships and identify alternative sources;
- Maintain alignment with national and global procurement strategies;
- Provide guidance on procurement matters.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in Procurement or Operations in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Proficiency in data analysis, market benchmarking, and decision-making is required. Experience with ERP/procurement systems is preferred.
Key qualifications include strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and strong analytical skills.
