We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Insurance Supervisor to join our team at Randstad. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a busy site, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate trades, site personnel, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Procure materials and contractors in accordance with the approved scope of works.
  • Create and issue purchase orders to contractors and suppliers.
  • Document site activity and report on damages.
  • Comply with WHS procedures and ensure all site operatives are working safely.
  • Conduct quality audits to ensure all works are completed in accordance with the National Construction Codes.
  • Manage works within budget, generate variations as required, and reconcile PC/PS adjustments.
  • Communicate updates with the team, providing written correspondence and site photos with descriptions.

Requirements

  • Trade or tertiary qualification in Carpentry/Joinery.
  • Setting out experience.
  • Experience complying with WHS procedures.
  • Willingness to travel out of your home area to assist with peak workload and CAT events.
  • Understanding of potential building code upgrades that may be required to facilitate repairs.
  • 4 years of experience working for a building competitor in Australia.
  • High communication skills and attention to detail.
