Job Description:

You will be responsible for driving the technical vision and governance through design and architectural decisions as a senior software engineer leader. You will oversee software development projects, write optimized code, and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Owning and communicating the technical strategy for supported products, from design through BAU support.
  • Ensuring scalability, maintainable systems through development and promoting adherence to patterns, governance processes and regular reviews.
  • Supporting the team in resolving technical blockers and being an escalation point for technical decisions.
  • Driving continuous development and continuous improvement principles within supported applications.
  • Ensuring standardization of technical practices across the team to support business outcomes.
  • Maintaining adherence to best practice and relevant Government and technical frameworks.
  • Working between technical and business stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and professional relationship management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relevant experience in software development (Net and Angular).
  • Experience in supporting digital solutions across various technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience developing guides, designs, architectural documents, and other relevant artifacts.
  • Absolutely essential: mid-senior level employment type, contract job function, IT Services and IT Consulting industries, Canberra location, AGSVA NV1 security clearance and ability to obtain NV2 clearance.
