Job Title: Public Safety Operations Leader

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the safety and security of our venues and patrons.

About Us: Our vision is to provide leading sport and entertainment venues and precincts. We take pride in owning and/or operating major sporting and entertainment venues, including stadiums and arenas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the prioritization and delivery of public safety and security management measures for all self and co-managed venues.
  • Drive the successful delivery of strategic objectives related to venue safety and security.
  • Minimise security risks faced by our organisation and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and codes of practice.
  • Maximise the preparedness of our organisation to react, respond to, and recover from incidents, emergencies, crisis events, external and internal threats, and other disruptive events.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in public safety and/or security management frameworks, strategies, and practices.
  • Knowledge of risk management standards and practices.
  • Ability to provide specialist advice, direction, and support to management and key stakeholders.
  • Tertiary Qualification in Security Management, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
