About this role

Our organisation is seeking a professional and customer-focused leader to manage our service operations. Based in our Dandenong branch, you will be responsible for the day-to-day service activities and lead an experienced team servicing customers throughout Victoria and Tasmania.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Service team and workload.
  • Provide advice and guidance to technicians and customers.
  • Manage financial responsibilities for the Service department (P&L and WIP).
  • Maintain and develop long-standing professional relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Coordination of warranty and product improvement works.
  • Coaching and development of Service Team.
  • Ensure behaviour is consistent with business values and expectation/s.

Requirements:

  • Technical experience with mobile cranes an advantage but not essential.
  • Certificate IV Leadership and management desirable.
  • Proven experience in a mechanical repair and service environment.
  • Previous management or team leadership experience.
  • Trade qualifications in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
  • A current driver's licence.
  • Flexible approach to meet the needs of the business.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
