About the Role

You will work closely with the Director of Planning & Environment, developing expertise in planning, building certification and environmental health.

This structured traineeship provides relevant qualifications and opportunities for professional growth.

  • Support planning and environmental operations within local government.
  • Manage applications and documents using the NSW Planning Portal.
  • Assist in assessing development, building and compliance applications.
  • Conduct site inspections for pools, plumbing and general compliance.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support.
About You

We are seeking a motivated individual eager to learn and contribute to our team.

  • Negotiate traffic conditions using a driver's license.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Show proficiency in Microsoft Office and GIS (an advantage).
  • Possess a White Card (preferred but not essential).
  • Show willingness to follow safety procedures and work collaboratively.
