Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Systems Administrator to join our team on a contract basis. As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting and uplifting core infrastructure across Wintel and Linux platforms.

This is a high-impact role within a fast-paced, enterprise-scale environment. You will be working closely with security, network, and cloud teams on cross-functional initiatives to ensure the smooth operation of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and uplift core infrastructure across Wintel and Linux platforms
  • Contribute to remediation efforts aligned to Essential Eight security controls
  • Assist with patching, hardening, and configuration management across systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues in a hybrid environment
  • Collaborate with security, network, and cloud teams on cross-functional initiatives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong experience administering Windows Server (Wintel) and Linux (RHEL/CentOS) systems
  • Proven experience in large, complex enterprise environments (ideally financial services)
  • Solid scripting and automation knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
  • Familiarity with vulnerability remediation and hardening standards
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience in production support
  • Highly Desirable:
    • Experience or exposure to Airlock/WAF solutions
    • Understanding of security frameworks, particularly the Essential Eight
