This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Accountant who is looking for a full-time position within a supportive and professional environment. We are looking for someone with a strong background in accounting and payroll, who is keen to contribute to the continued success of our practice.

The key responsibilities of this role will be:

  1. Client portfolio management
  2. Maintaining general ledger and end-of-year financial reporting
  3. Preparing quarterly Business Activity Statements and Annual Income tax returns
  4. Liaising with ATO and other stakeholders
  5. Payroll Accounting and reporting
  6. Working collaboratively with stakeholders

About You

  • You will be studying towards CA/CPA/IPA qualification
  • Minimum 1 year experience in SME Accounting, BAS Preparation & Taxation
  • You have end-to-end Bookkeeping and payroll experience
  • Sage Handisoft, MYOB and Xero experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer literacy and proficient with MS Excel

The remuneration package for the role will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
