We are seeking an experienced Production Operator/Storeperson to join our valued client based in Townsville.

- Picking and Assembling: Pick and assemble orders with precision and efficiency.
- Machinery Operation: Utilize machinery and forklifts daily to support production and logistics operations.
- Computer Knowledge: Proficiency in using Pronto software is advantageous.
- Forklift License: Hold a current forklift license with proven experience.
- Manual Handling Experience: Prior experience within a manual handling and warehouse role is essential.
- Teamwork and Safety: Ability to work in a team environment and hold a sound understanding of safety in the workplace.
- Maintenance and Inspection: Perform regular maintenance on production equipment to prevent breakdowns and inspect raw materials and finished products for defects or inconsistencies.
- Production Monitoring: Keep a close watch on the production process to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Machinery Operation: Run and monitor machines used in various stages of steel production, such as furnaces, rolling mills, and casting machines.
- Material Handling: Move semi-finished and finished steel products within the facility using cranes, forklifts, or other equipment.
- Driver's License: Hold a current C Class Drivers License and have reliable transport.
- Physical Fitness: Be physically fit and able to undertake manual handling.
- Sheet Metal Folding Experience: Prior experience with sheet metal folding is essential.
- Forklift License: Hold a current forklift license with proven experience.
- Warehouse Experience: Prior experience within warehouse roles is essential.
- Teamwork and Safety: Ability to work in a team environment and hold a sound understanding of safety in the workplace.
- Computer Knowledge: Proficiency in using computer software is advantageous.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Be mechanically minded and able to troubleshoot equipment issues.
