About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Tailings Engineer - Geotechnical Specialist. As a key member of our global team, you will play a critical role in planning and managing tailings design studies and supporting analyses. You will also provide technical support to junior engineers as part of multi-disciplinary project teams on local, regional, and international consulting assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare technical deliverables with support from senior engineers
  • Plan and manage geotechnical site investigations and construction projects
  • Conduct field investigations (CPTu, test pitting, borehole drilling etc.) under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Identify safety hazards (both office-based and site-based) and report OH&S incidents
  • Work with and provide support to members of the team as required
  • Develop and maintain effective client relationships and generate consulting business
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team

About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Geotechnical Engineer with a strong background in mining and tailings expertise. You will have a Bachelor's Qualification in Civil/Mining Engineering or a similar field and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, enthusiasm for fieldwork, and a reliable and committed approach to producing high-quality work.
