Immerse yourself in a magical experience as a Trail Experience Officer at our enchanting attraction. As part of our team, you will guide guests through their journey, ensuring it is engaging, informative, and seamless.
The role involves rotating through key trail touchpoints, ensuring guest safety and supporting the flow of guests through the trail. You will also address any guest, technical, or emergency situations that may arise.
Your primary focus will be on creating memorable guest experiences by providing friendly assistance, answering questions, and proactively engaging with visitors to enhance their journey. By prioritizing safety and guest enjoyment, you will ensure each guest has an enchanting experience throughout their time on the trail.
As part of a whole-team approach, our Trail Experience Officers will assist with evening operations, including supporting commercial and guest experience teams, path sweeping, general cleaning, and other tasks to maintain the overall experience and to ensure that every guest has an unforgettable journey.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have prior experience in guest services or operations, preferably within the tourism, events, or hospitality industry. Key skills we are looking for include:
- Effective communication skills and ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
- Takes initiative with a can-do attitude who is proactive in assisting guests and teams.
- Trained in First Aid and prepared to support and assist with any medical or safety emergencies confidently, ensuring the well-being of all guests (or willingness to be trained).
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the attraction's operating hours - this role is casual with up to four evenings for show times from Tuesday - Saturday.
- Be prepared to work in an outdoor environment, with walking and lifting necessary, and in a workplace that has native wildlife such as birds and reptiles.
