About Us :
Katherine Town Council is the municipal authority for Katherine, a regional centre in the Northern Territory. We provide essential services to the community, including rates, roads, infrastructure, animal control, waste management, and other core services.
Located at the crossroads of Northern Australia, Katherine serves as a vital connection between Perth and Darwin, and Adelaide and Darwin. The town has a population of around 8,000 people, with the local RAAF Airbase at Tindal adding an additional 2,000 residents.

As part of our team, you will play a key role in supporting our projects and ensuring the effective delivery of our services. Your responsibilities will include providing administrative support to the Infrastructure and Environment Services team, liaising with external stakeholders, and undertaking various administrative duties.
We offer a competitive salary package, including:
- A salary range of $60,000 to $80,000 per annum, depending on experience
- 6 weeks annual leave p.a
- 3 weeks sick leave p.a
- Above award entitlements
- Superannuation contribution commence at 10.5% p.a
