About the Role

Arcadis is seeking experienced Senior Surveillance Officers to join our independent verifiers teams on significant transport infrastructure projects in South East Queensland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations on site and provide support and advice to Arcadis' role in certification of the contractor's work.
  • Review Contractor's Management Plans and ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality procedures.
  • Attend witness points and release hold points.
  • Identify and investigate non-conformances and implement measures to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Compile reports and management records on safety, environment, traffic, and quality.
  • Provide guidance and training to on-site project teams on quality requirements.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience on complex infrastructure projects.
  • Sound technical understanding of site-based requirements for civil and structural and/or rail construction projects.
  • Well-rounded communication skills and ability to modify approach to achieve positive outcomes with diverse stakeholder teams.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of state-based standards with TMR and/or QR.
  • Strong teamwork ethos and ability to work collaboratively to achieve best outcome.
