Urgent Care Clinical Support Nurse

An Urgent Care Enrolled Nurse is required to join our Cessnock Urgent Care Service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing support and ensure all patients that present to the Urgent Care Service are given appropriate care in collaboration with the Registered Nurses (RN).
- Assist the RN in providing high-quality patient care for injuries or illnesses, including history assessments, administering medications, wound care, plastering, and providing patient education.
- Ensure patient care activities are within scope of practice and comply with For Health policies and procedures.
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Must be flexible and available evenings and weekends.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Emergency setting, with a focus on acute injury and illness management and fast-track patient flow.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle escalations, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
