The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic law students to participate in its work experience placements.

About the Placement

As a work experience student in the ABC Legal team, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive environment where you can gain valuable insights into media law. You will join one of our teams, including Content, Disputes & Litigation, Prepublication & Training, Technology & Property, Commercial & Regulatory, Privacy, or Legal Operations & Innovation.

Eligibility Criteria

  • You must be in your final year of a law degree at an Australian university and required to complete a supervised practical legal placement as part of your university degree or as part of your practical legal training to qualify for legal admission.
  • You should have a demonstrated interest in media, technology, privacy, and/or legal innovation/operations.

Candidates who do not meet these minimum requirements will not be considered for a placement.

About the Role

This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in media law and develop essential skills in research, analysis, and problem-solving. As a member of the ABC Legal team, you will contribute to various projects and tasks under the guidance of experienced lawyers.
