Role Overview

The Operational Quality Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing clinical care, policy, and client outcomes across NSW. This position contributes to ongoing strategic planning, implementation, and improvement of clinical best practice in a constantly changing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership to the region, driving enhancements in clinical care, policy, and client outcomes.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality and risk management strategies to ensure the region's clinical excellence.
  • Lead the region's Quality activities, ensuring positive survey outcomes and continuous improvement.
  • Identify gaps between current practice and existing protocols or best practice, driving desired enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to achieve planned service delivery outcomes and improvements.

About You

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
  • Expert clinical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to lead and drive change.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with a strong track record of achievement.
  • Own vehicle and driver's licence for regional travel.
  • 2024 flu vaccinations or willingness to obtain, as well as evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations.
  • Federal Police Check for the successful candidate.
  • Well-developed organisational and prioritising skills, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
