The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the team to support students undertaking undergraduate studies in nursing and midwifery, ensuring an outstanding student experience.
Duties and Responsibilities- Teach subjects at undergraduate level, providing a high-quality learning experience that engages students.
- Prepare and mark student assessments, including moderation.
- Initiate and participate in curriculum design, including embedding employability capabilities.
- Provide constructive feedback on learning to students.
- Liaise effectively with external partners and mentor/supervise students on clinical placement.
- Masters or equivalent accreditation and standing recognised by the University/profession as appropriate for the nursing and/or midwifery disciplines.
- Registered or eligible to register as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching, curriculum development, and subject coordination in face-to-face, blended, and/or online modes.
- Recent and relevant contemporary clinical/professional experience as relevant to the nursing and/or midwifery disciplines.
