We are seeking an experienced occupational therapist to deliver high-quality care services to aged clients in Ballina, NSW. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the well-being of older Australians and make a meaningful impact in the community.

About the Role

BaptistCare is a leading provider of home care services across Australia. As an occupational therapist with our team, you will be responsible for conducting evidence-based assessments and interventions to help clients regain independence and continue living at home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct occupational therapy assessments and interventions to support aged care clients in the Ballina area
  • Develop tailored programs to promote health and well-being
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding client outcomes
  • Provide exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage with clients, families, and colleagues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A degree in occupational therapy with current registration
  • Proven ability to assess occupational therapy needs and design tailored programs for aged care clients
  • Postgraduate experience working in diverse aged care settings
  • Thorough knowledge of health and well-being frameworks, including reablement and restorative care models
