Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our Fulfilment Operations team. As a key member of our warehouse leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the day-to-day operations, activities, and co-workers. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the highest goods availability, operational readiness, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and supporting the Fulfilment Operations team, including rostering, breaks, and ensuring KPIs are communicated and achieved
  • Leading the Fulfilment Operations Co-workers in the assigned area of responsibility to secure the highest goods availability, operational readiness always at the lowest possible cost
  • Identifying, recruiting, retaining, and developing the many talents in the Fulfilment Operations team to secure a diverse, high-performing team that can execute its assigned responsibilities with confidence and secure future people succession readiness
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment throughout the store and ensuring that the Fulfilment Operations Co-workers work in compliance with IKEA Code of Conduct, internal IKEA regulations, and local legislation related to health, safety, security, and the environment
  • Continuously improving and securing effective, qualitative, and efficient daily Fulfilment Operations to guarantee a positive customer shopping experience through quality of products, merchandising, and stock accuracy
  • Creating co-workers' quality awareness to prevent and reduce damages, driving the implementation of local business plans/projects, and analyzing existing workload to secure daily volume handling and meet operational excellence

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in leading teams in an operational function with a proven record of successful leadership delivering both business results and people development
  • Sound computer literacy and understanding of Microsoft Office suite/apps
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to build relationships, collaborate, and effectively influence and manage key stakeholders
  • A forward thinker who works calmly under pressure, capable of making agile decisions and problem-solving
  • Comfortable working a mix of strategic, tactical, and operational tasks
  • Good self-awareness and a safety mindset, leading yourself and others to provide a safe working environment, while delivering results

Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
